Bid by Ao-Lung, the Dragon of the South Wind, to retrieve and destroy a powerful artifact, Bunny sets out with Ao-Lung's pupil, Kyoto. Their first obstacle's a big one: a fast, heavily armed cowboy robot-or maybe it's a guy in a suit. So, water works on either one, right?

Life is rarely fair for deadly ditz Bunny, half-dragon Kyoto, and (sort-of) immortal god-child Jin. A soul-controlling demon has an entire town out to get them, and the residents are too evil to stay dead, it seems. Bunny's hidden depths(?!) may be enough to vanquish the demon (whom she calls "Sherri"), but it only wants to control Jin. Other forces want him dead. And OTHER other forces want Bunny dead. Can Bunny be brave, selfless, and above all, annoying enough to survive and save the day? Collects Blade Bunny Vol. 2 #6-11.

Having promised Kyoto to behave, Bunny reins herself in from causing (too much) trouble at the monastery. But between meeting Jin, a quiet, ordinary orphan (which means he MUST be important) and Yue-Shi, the immortal Son of the Sun and the Moon (who tells long, boring stories), it's REALLY tough to behave...then the alarm sounds!

The monks at Flame Spire Monastery are all set to light their fires to summon spirits in their defense. Bunny knows the spires are rigged, though...it's what she would do. But it's all good, 'cause Bunny's stopped two of the pyre-lighters, and Kyoko stopped one (despite Bunny throwing her off a roof), and Jin's stopped the...fourth...didn't he...?
